Current Workout Schedule
I’m in the middle of transitioning to a new workout routine, but for the most part, this is my weekly schedule!
M: 6 mile tempo run (increasing speed weekly)
Tu: CrossFit!
W: Speed Intervals/Circuit Training
Th: CrossFit
F: Cross Training (Spinning or Elliptical/Swimming)
Sa: Long Run or CrossFit
Su: Active Recovery (usually a long walk/bonding session with my baby boy/furry friend, Beau-Beau)
Another thing I’m finding to be pretty important is sleep scheduling. I’m working on updating my workout regimen to vary, but to wake up at the same time daily and go to bed at the same time nightly.
As far as dietary regimes, I follow a mostly Paleo diet with cheating as an option on the weekends. I’m getting ready to start a hardcore Paleo challenge, so I’ll be doing strict Paleo for the next 55 days (or this is my hope)!

Sounds great, but just reading your workout plan made me tired–hehe! I’m not a fan of running 🙂 Good luck with your half marathon training!

First off I would like to say great blog!
I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing.
I’ve had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin.
Any ideas or tips? Thank you!
Mason, as you see I haven’t written in a while because of that! I try to write when something inspires me 🙂 wait for inspiration or make notes and outlines on topics that interest you so you can draft them when you have time. Good luck!
