Raspberry Glazed Top Sirloin

July 10, 2011

Hubby has been the chef in the GFM household these days!  Luckily, our Clean Eating Meal Plan is easy to follow with fantastic recipes!

A beautifully grilled top sirloin, sauteed Swiss chard, and a rice pilaf with golden raisins, cranberries, and almonds.

This was by far my favorite part of the meal 🙂 I love the sweet and savory combo, and I always love to sneak a hint of sweetness into our meals!

Thanks for another wonderful meal, Hubby!

Something cute we’ve noticed…Beau likes to lay between our feet when we are prepping/cooking dinner.  He also gazes longingly at our meals and we are pretty sure that he thinks we are cooking dinner for him 🙂 Cutie!!433333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333

Are you following the Clean Eating 14-day meal plan, and are you liking it so far? Are you finding it easy to substitute or adapt recipes to be GF?

I love CE magazine…but many times the most delicious looking recipes are not GF! (and B and I are still getting used to and learning how to GF-ize dishes ourselves) =)

Hope all is well with your busy life and adorable little family – glad to see your postings are back! =)

Hi Lisa! I find it really easy to substitute for GF (and would be happy to help!) But I don’t concern myself ensuring the calories match. So if you are focused on that then I can only help a bit 🙂

I miss swiss chard! Our little plant didn’t make it 😦

Your rice sounds Delish! I never would have thought to ass raisins + almonds to it!!
